Personal Installation of your RMS Vacation Rental Software!

Personal Installation of your RMS Vacation Rental Software!

Installation of your RMS begins with a pre-installation interview. A detailed questionnaire helps our technicians customize your system according to your requirements. Questions include subjects such as your tax percents, your standard commission rates, season dates, cleaning fees and much more. We certainly are available to assist you with any questions you may have while filling out the information. You can change all of your answers in your RMS at anytime; we're just making it easier for you to get started with your new vacation rental software. Once the questionnaire is completed, we set your answers into your new RMS and it is then ready to be placed onto one of our secure, always available and always backed up servers.

Our servers are housed in secure data centers that are monitored 24x7 and have been certified by an independent auditor to be SAS 70 Type II compliant. The Statement on Auditing Standards (SAS) No. 70, Service Organizations, is an internationally recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). A SAS 70 audit recognizes that a hosting provider has had an in-depth audit of its control activities conducted by an independent third-party auditor that includes a thorough review of all its controls over information technology and related processes. Securing your RMS in a data center that has passed an SAS 70 audit demonstrates to you, the customer, that your data is in a data center that has established adequate controls and safeguards in the hosting of your data and IT infrastructure.

If the data center that stores your RMS were to experience a power disruption for any reason, you're covered. That's because it has a complete power management system, including backup generators in the unlikely event that normal power supplies fail. Servers within the data center are fed power through an Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) that takes raw power from a utility to control, modulate, and supply it to the servers. The UPS prevents power surges or local brown outs from affecting server performance. Power typically flows from the local utility to the UPS system to power the servers and the building's lighting, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. In the unlikely event that the local utility power supply is disrupted, the data center's N+1 generator architecture assures that backup generators kick in automatically. Once the power transfer switches sense a decline in power from the local utility, they automatically signal diesel-powered generators to start up and switch power flow to the generators. In the few seconds between the decline in power from the utility and switch over to the backup generators, the UPS units are supplied with power through a battery system that ensures the power supply to servers is uninterrupted. Should any generator fail, there are additional backup generators that kick in automatically to keep power supplies flowing. And if by any chance there is an extended power outage, on-site diesel generators can run indefinitely. Servers are fed by multiple uninterruptible power supply (UPS) units with redundant and instant failover coverage should any single UPS unit fail.

Your data is automatically and redundantly backed up every day. Our primary backup method uses the advanced R1Soft CDP Server backup process. Also, your backups are stored in multiple locations - including offsite locations. Best of all you don't have to do a thing since the backups are automatic.

You can be assured that when your RMS is installed it is always secure, always available and always backed up!
